I had this a few weeks ago myself. Symantec has the necessary removal info -

Subject: [PCBUILD] Antivirus XP 2008

I have somehow on my laptop computer Antivirus XP 2008. I am unsure how this came about but it has definitely infected my computer. I have an updated Norton Antivirus so I would have thought this would have protected me. How do I go about getting rid of this virus? So far Norton has popped up and fixed everything or so it said but this Antivirus XP 2008 is still on the computer. I am able to use the internet and Microsoft Outlook Express. I am using Windows XP Media Center. My desktop is blurry and this virus program keeps popping up in the startup tray.

Thank you for your assistance.

Alice
