The FAT32 converter will always fail if there are any errors on the hard
drive.  As a previous "lister" responded, using fdisk to reformat the drive
will solve the problem *BUT* will obviously result in all data on the drive
being lost.

If you can't do this (reformat the drive) then purchase PowerQuest's
Partition Magic v4.0.  Partition Magic will convert a drive even *with*
errors.  It's a pretty incredible utility and will do a lot more than FAT32
conversion.  Worth every penny.
