The original ATX spec had the power supply fan blowing in. I had one of
these power supplies, but it didn't make sense to me to blow air into a hot
power supply and then into the case. So I opened the power supply and turned
the fan around so it would blow out. Subsequent revisions of the ATX spec
had the fan blowing out.

My rule of thumb is to have the same number of fans blowing in equal the
same number of fans blowing out. I believe this results in more efficient
air flow through the case.

Air flow design has always been a guessing game for me.
I have one Antec case where the PS blows out (with it's own
two PS fans in a push-pull arraignment), and another Antec case
where the PS blows in.

If I have a case fan on the rear of both/either cases, do they blow
out on both models?
