Dear PCBUILD,
    I am in the market for a new motherboard to
replace an Epox 8KTA that has apparently gone bad on
me. (That's a whole other topic though). Anyway, I was
considering the following motherboards based on the
KT266A chipset and would appreciate any suggestions or
experiences one may have.

Shuttle AK31 Rev. 3.1 ($59)
Shuttle AK35GTR ($79)
EPoX EP-8KHA+ ($84)
ABIT KR7-RAID ($85)
GA-7VTXE ($49)

Maybe I should say what I will be using this computer
for: college. Therefore, stability is very important,
as well as price. For now I want to put a 700mhz
Athlon T-Bird in, but latter upgrade to a faster
Athlon, say 1800+. I will using a Geforce based
graphics card. (BTW, Geforce 3 TI 200 or 500)
   Scouring the internet, all these boards seem to
satisfy what I need, but any help would be great help
me make up my mind.
