When you start up your computer, what does the post screen show the BIOS to
be recognizing your processor as being?  Does it correctly recognize your
processor as a Celeron D?  The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking
that Everest and Belarc may simply be reporting what the BIOS knows.  If the
BIOS doesn't correctly identify the processor, these programs won't either.

In any case, a program that probably does a better job of identifying a
processor is CPU-Z, http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php (also freeware).
