Hi,

Now you know why some printers are so inexpensive. It's the give away the
shoes to sell the laces prinicple.

Other color printers may not be as costly to operate. Home refills are
cheaper than store new cartridges. Color lasers are now in the $1000-1200
range, but again watch the consumable costs.

Used lasers can be inexpensive to buy and run and give good output. My best
find was the HP LJIIIP at a fleamarket for $5.00. New, rebuilt toner
cartridge and it was good as new. New lasers can be had from $150 and up.

Multifuction units, though a nice idea can be problemsome. They usually
run software in the background that can cause conflicts. I used a canon
6000 laser multifuction for 2yrs and it seemed okay. Annoying thing with
the MF devices is when not attached and you boot up, all the messages that
come up saying it can't find it.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
