I have ideas but my first suggestion would be to count the beeps and look up
the code for that BIOS.
That should tell you the problem.
The other suggestion would be to get a POST card to read the POST error.
Mostly a bad Drive controller.

I have a AMD K6/233 motherboard in a machine I have inherited. It will boot
fine from a floppy and set up an operating system fine.
Any ideas?
