Hi Dean, this is the edited message and hope it is ok.


"Dean,terribly sorry I seem to have mixed up the dos commands.  I seem to have put the slash wrongly and also the backward slash instead of forward.

I have got it right now and am able to see the contents of my "d"drive from the beginning with instructions for further scrolling to continue.

So all I need now are the dos commands for selecting the files I want to copy, the commands for copying form “d” drive to “c” drive of my dell hdd.

I presume I have to create a new folder in “c” drive of dell hdd.  Also I need the dos commands for deleting the relevant files after copying to free space in my “d” drive which is the objective
