    Your pretty limited on any BIOS improvements for any more speed. This is
about all I see left to do.

    Go into BIOS and make sure video memory is set at 4Meg.

    Set your display to 24bit 800x600.

    Install DirectX 7.0a

    Install Powerleaps Control Panel to enable 3D Now! instructions.

    And thats about the best you can hope for.

    As for a "good" BIOS site, I'm STILL searching... 

    And P.S., did you put heatsink compound between the CPU and heatsink?!?  



    What I find myself wondering now is which other settings I might be able
to tweak to further improve performance?
    Does anyone know of any good sites that explain the cmos/bios settings in
fairly plain language?
