Hi Demetri

Go to Device Manager and with "Computer" highlighted,
choose "Properties".

Do you see three instances of "IRQ Holder for PCI Steering"
at three IRQs?

If so, that's probably the cause of your error message.
(I am not familiar with HWINFO.) But seeing an instance of
IRQ Holder for PCI Steering with certain IRQs is normal in
Win98. (This means that the IRQ was available for use with
ISA devices but was used by Win98 instead for a PCI device.)

This may not be a read error message.

Regards,
Bill
