This is a strange problem.

I have a computer with both xp and 2000. i have 2 RAM chips of 512 each
(ddr pc2100). When i have both sticks in (1 gig) my computer will shut down
randomly (once every few days, at the strangest times, with both O/S). If i
take out one chip (either one) the comp works just fine. I checked the
event log and each time a different code appears.

What is going on?
