I would guess that you have a network cable connect to the PC already,
if you do, can you back it up through the network?  I saw a tandy 386
before, I thought they has regular IDE drive, except the pins are a
little different. But, that was a while back, and I don't remember much.
Anyway, if the network works, it might be the only way for you to
backup, unless you can get the floppy drive to work or get the harddrive
to work in another computer.  Well, there is a last thing to do if the
drive is gone before you can backup.  Take it to the datarecovery
places, and have them copy the content of the drive for you.  It is not
cheap, but from what I heard, You usually can get most of the data back
(in CD).  By the way, which operation system are you running?
