Turn off automatic restarting. This will leave the reason for the shutdown
displayed on the screen.

(right-click My Computer, choose Properties, then Advanced, and click
Settings under Startup and Recovery.
Un-check "automatically restart".)

If you don't understand the shutdown reason, copy down EVERYTHING on the
screen (word-for-letter-for-word) and post to the list.

Carl

Subject: [PCBUILD] random shutdown

Good Morning
I have been having problems lately with random
shutdowns.
The computer will completely shut down on its own and reboot again. We may
be on the computer when this happens or we may be away from our computer. We
do have NAV and service pack 2. We also noticed last nite that our A drive
is gone. I am hoping someone can help.

thank you
Deborah Kaskalavich
