The Cyrix 66DX2 Computer I am fixing after running scan disk I got an
"Parity Check 1" message. By Phoneix tables this means a bus parity error
but there is no action to be taken in the tables. Does this mean the
motherboard has a problem or is it another hardware problem? If I leave the
computer off a while it will boot but tells me that it is using default
values in the setup. If use F1 to resume it boots into Windows if I use
setup and save it then hangs. Where should I go from here to check or is
this a thermo problem I've already checked the BIOS for chip creep?
