Thanks to all of you who responded to my request concerning knowledge of the Acomdata external drive. I was planning to go with a HD/external Case setup, when I saw the Acomdata drive for a $99 net price, cheaper than any Case setup I could find at the time. However, after a little quiet reflection and your responses, I agreed with you and myself that a case arrangement was more flexible, easier and less expensive upgrading, etc. And then, lo and behold I found a HD and case combo for not only less money but with a higher (7200rpm) speed. Thanks again for your insight.
