Hello,

I have a 19 inch hyundi monitor that recently decided not to come on when
I turned on my computer. It clicks and clicks. The computer comes on as
usual. I shut everything down and checked all the monitor cables for
loose connections. Everything seemed tight, so started up again. Same
clicking like it was trying to click on, but could not get the umphhh to
do it.

I then disconnected the monitor and put my very old partially dying 14
inch monitor on, and it works. First thing the computer asked me when I
was able to see it, was "did I want to turn off the automatic power sleep
feature" or something of that sort.

I went into my monitor display options and the sleep was on never(I mean
to come on if not used within five minutes or so). The hibernation
feature is disabled also.

When I shut down windows 98, and windows shut off, the monitor used to
automatically shut off also. That part never changed. The start up did.

Can anyone tell me if this is win 98 problem, monitor problem, or what?

And what to do? Easy steps please, if there is a solution. Monitor is
just a little over 2 years old, no hard usage.

Thanks for any help.
