When all else fails, in a situation like this, you follow the advise of
(and use the drivers provided by) your mother board manufacturer.
It you can't find them, or identify the board name, manufacturer,
model number, or revision number, the process "breaks down"...
This is one reason to buy from a good manufacturer that maintains
a good WEB site and has good support.

Being (more or less) an AMD specialist, and with AMD having
seemingly solved this type of problem several years ago taking "the
pain" out of this process, all I can recommend is to search for MB
manufacture. Sometime drivers are in the download section, support
section, or right on the very page of your model. (Every manufacturer
does it differently...)

Do you have a link you can post that "looks like" it is your exact MB?

My Chipset is 845G/GL/GV/GLV (and some show GLVE, as you did) "FAMILY" - but the driver downloads are specific to ONE of these -
not to the "FAMILY". I don't know how to tell WHICH driver to download. Also, apparently you have to also download and use a
"driver installer" for these, but there are also a bunch of those. The older one fits my PC, but I don't know if it has to fit the
age of my PC or the age of the driver that it is installing. It just should not be this hard.
