My daughter put some of these magnets on my computer case a number of years
ago. If the magnet sticks, then the case is steel and will to a large extent
shield the magnetic field. In any case, the strength of these magnets is not
great and should not pose any problems. Only floppy disks would be at any
risk, and I have not seen any floppy disk lately!

This is my own view - others may differ with my assessment and experience.

Subject: Refrigerator mags on case

OK folks, here's one of those strange questions...
I have re-built an old Compaq for my computerless sister and I would like
to "pretty it up" with a picture printed on an 8.5x11" printable magnetic
sheet.
Is there any risk of the magnetism messing with the PCs electronics? My
instinct says it's too small a field to matter, but better safe.....!
