I have had nothing but bad times with two all-in-one's.  I don't know why I bought the second.  The first was a Canon, the second was a Lexmark.  They do everything poor to average and nothing well.  When the last one gave up the Ghost I purchased an Epson photo copy machine for under a hundred after rebate and a reconditioned scanner for around $40.00.  I can use the scanner to make copies.  I am much happier with this set-up.  The following is a personal opinion,  nothing with a Lexmark label goes for me anymore.  That's especially true if you want to do any experimentation with a Linux dual boot. TheBender---
