XP will do it either from a fresh install of the OS,
(when you first start out it will guide you),
Or if the OS is already installed,
in Control Panel, Administrative Tools,
Computer Management, Disk Management.
Click on the drive there and select what you want
to do to it and how.
Your drive size is under the original (non-sp1)
limitation.
