Thanks all for your help.  I'm not sure at this point all the uses of the
two monitors, although multiple windows will be used.  So, one large (21")
monitor could be used or 2 smaller monitors--I have 2 17" monitors already.
One monitor will display the mixing console mostly, and the other an edit
window or other processing program.  But not sure of just what all yet.  I
also don't know how important 3D is if at all--no gaming intended.  The
system will be pretty dedicated to music production/processing and mastering
to CDs, library functions, internet access.  Two video cards can be used, if
this isn't too hard to implement without setup difficulties/conflicts or
extra cost.  The ability to spread the desktop across two monitors could
possibly be handy also I would think.
