Well, Steven, stay calm, turn the PC off, and remove the drive.  Remove the
plastic bezel plate from the front of the drive so you can see the insides.
Try to fish it out with tweezers or use gravity to let it fall out.  Is the
little spring in there too, or just the slide piece?  Make sure you get it
all.  Be sure to double check ALL the cable connections before you screw the
case back on.
