Hello PCBUILD,

I have a Toshiba Satellite 1805-S274 notebook, running Windows 2000
Pro. I am have connected an external vga; it is recognized by Device
Manager and says that it is enabled and running properly. But when I
press Function-F5 the screen goes blank momentarily and returns to the
notebook's display. The external display is a 17-inch Solarism. They
don't have a tech support number and no drivers were provided. I
would appreciate any help on this. I tried calling Toshiba and they
said to contact the reseller of the display.
