Both are high performance syncronous RAM, but SG(raphics)RAM  has
some extra graphics specific functions built in. eg. block
masking. If you're putting together a graphics intensive system,
especially a gaming system, pay the extra couple of bucks for the
SGRAM. It will make a difference.
