First thing to do is remove the wireless hardware and put back the wired
keyboard and mouse and see if the problem goes away. You need to know
whether to concentrate further troubleshooting on the wireless equipment or
the computet itself.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Keyboard & Mouse Problem

My keyboard and mouse functions get very sluggish after about 1.5 to 2
hours. I can restart my computer and everything works just fine for another
couple of hours, and then I have to restart again. I have a wireless Compaq
keyboard and mouse installed about three months ago. The batteries test
good. I'm running MS 98, and the computer is 3.5 years old with 128 megs of
RAM. Would appreciate any comments on what I can do to fix this problem.
Thanks from a new member. Tom Daniel
