HI:

1) Check for virus.  Any time a system does something really out of the
ordinary, check for a virus. Virus's often want to transfer files through
the A drive.  Even if you are using a virus detection program I suggest you
check it's intregrity with a 2nd opinion.  You can do so on the web at
pc-cillan's housecall.com.  You cna be amazed at what you can find sometimes.
