Hi.
How can be known which display adapters are admitted for multiple color
monitor in W98?:
-The criteria for it to work.
-Any that do work.
-Any that do not work.
-If different, combinations that work.
-AGP and PCI.

I have put an old Trident 9440 PCI together with a S3 Virge DX PCI (and an
ISA monochrome adaptor) and, after exchanging slots between the S3 and the
9440, happened the following:
-Bios booted normally on the S3.
-The 9440 monitor light went from orange to off (normally orange to green,
so seems that something not so afortunate happens before W98). It remains
off.
-When W98 comes in, it recognizes the 9440 and asks for a dll for it in the
CD.
-Under Control Panel/System it says that the 9440 doesn't work in multiple
monitors compatibility; it shows a yellow mark.

  Starting point: (-1)^(-1) = -1
  Applying logarithms: (-1)*ln(-1) = ln(-1)
  Since ln(-1) <> 0, dividing: -1 = 1 (ln(-1) is complex, but exists)
