Hi,

Chances are this is not a drive manufacturer. They may make the case
and conversion boards inside where the drive goes into, or they could be
a marketing company and someone else assembles the units for them, but
I'd bet a dollar that the drive is from a major manufacturer,
Wd, Seagate, Maxtor, Samsung, or MIC

Thanks and have a Great Day!

Joe Lore

I am in process of adding an external hard drive USB device for storage.
In reviewing various products I came across an Acomdata 40GB 5400rpm,
firewire/USB 2.0. Never heard of this mfgr before. Does anyone have any
knowledge or experience related to this product? Price is right, but I
get nervous about an unknown ( at least to me) manufacturer. Appreciate
any input on this.
