  SOLVED !

I resolved this problem. It was definitely the Windows 95B driver for the
5434 Cirrus Logic Chip which seems very odd since this is not the case in
NT or 98. However I installed a older driver which was written for the
Jaton card and the display is acting normally now.

>Did you check the Monitor setting for Windows 95?  If it is set to assume
>the monitor is only capable of 640x480, then it will use the virtual screen
