I'm attempting to service a HP model 8380 that crashed during a Norton Virus Scan. When the computer boots it goes to the HP splash screen but then sends the following: "Load Error. Push any key to reboot." It appears the computer isn't seeing the keyboard. I can't enter the bios or start in safe mode. If I use the emergency boot disk and the Win 98 cd it appears to work for a while, but still won't read the keyboard and allow me to enter any commands. I've tried the keyboard on another computer and it works fine. I'd appreciate any assistance possible.
