I found an old archive copy (08-08-2000) on my hard drive of a WEB page
from Symantec about mixing Ghost and Disk overlays.

  >>NOTE: In general, Symantec does not support the use of Ghost
  >>to clone drives using drive managers or overlays. The following
  >>tips are provided for informational purposes only and should not
  >>imply that use of these procedures is in any way supported by
  >>Symantec or Ghost technical support.

I was wondering why I never tried it, and seem to have found my
answer (belatedly, again).
The original Document ID was: 1999012915211725

Anyone interested is a copy of that should search the Norton site first,
and if it is not there anymore, I would be happy to forward an html copy
off list. Please use same subject line.
Thanks for the original list replies about this...
