Hi every one, I'm running a P-III 450 Mhtz with Win 98 SE system
with a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1212 purchased back in 1999 or 2000.

There's a problem with this DVD-ROM drive. It runs any OEM soft ware
CD's and music CD's, but it will not run CD's from a burner. I have
a Mad Dog CD burner using Nero Express which it will not run. And
it won't run a Knoppix Live CD which I just purchased. The drive
indicator light blinks about 50 times and than remains lit. What do
you think, is this a lost cause, or what? Thanks.
