Hi Mike

I've tried all permutations of 1027x768, 800x600, 16bit and 32bit. It
doesn't matter which combination I use, it still freezes after a few
seconds or a minute or two at the most.

Best regards, Pete Sowerby.........

What is the resolution you are attempting to use and the number of
colors?
