Hi gang,

Sorry, I know this has been addressed before but here goes again,  my
father in law has a Compaq Presario 4508.  It has one slot for memory.
Yes, only one.  24 meg SDRAM  chip in it now.  He wants to go to at least
64 if not more.  Does other memory work in Compaqs??  or does he _have_
to use compaq memory??  He is going to us  some voice recognition
software as well as some legal apps. in Correl 8 Legal Ed.  64 meg has
been suggested as minimum.

also is Packard Bell memory proprietary as well??
