Yes there was a question whether Vista would install I have Vista capable
on my laptop I had no problem installing windows 7 I didn't realize my
Dlink AirPlus Wireless Router quit working so no wonder I couldn't log on
since then I bought Linksys Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router Model
WRT610N I have my wireless working I got all the updates except for mass
storage I am wondering if that has to do with my DVD rom, I find my laptop
boots up fast Windows 7 I formatted both drives so I don't have any
hidden recovery partition .Microsoft bought this laptop and send it back
to Acer with Vista on it I installed Vista before it went RTM on this
laptop. It was running fairly good I really like Windows 7 it seems to be
running quite good. . One thing about Windows 7 on my desktop it installed
without a hitch. Thank you for your suggestions and your help Jackie
