I've faced a problem where the floppy drive cannot
detect any files in my diskettes (1.44 MB diskette)
The computer can detect the floppy drive but when I do
dir command:

a:\dir --> The message below appeared

" Volume in Drive A is M R P 9 Z P
  Directory of A:\
  File Not Found "

For another diskette

" Volume in drive A is B
  Volume Serial Number is 1 E E F - 1 3 F F
  Directory of A:\
  File Not Found "

I've changed the floppy drive and the cable from
another PC (which is work fine) but same message
appeared . Infact, I've also used new floppy drive but
no success.
PC's Brand Acer 920, Pentium 150 with 16 Mhz.
Bios date 1996.
Any ideas are welcome
