I know that this topic may fall under the category of personal preference, but I have a general question for those of you that build/work on systems regularily.

Have you found that the AMD systems are in general easier than / harder than / the same in difficulty to setup and get working properly.

I am trying to check my experience against others. I have found that although once setup the AMD system is snappy and reliable, it seems that in general it is a bit harder to get the system setup and running properly. Is this my imagination, or just abnomly in my base of knowledge?

TIA
