Ray,

I had nearly the same exact questions not too long ago. The system I was
wanting to upgrade was a Cyrix 233Mhz chip with a max bus speed of 83Mhz and
max multiplier of 5.5. I purchased an AMD K6-2 450Mhz chip, dropped it in,
set the bus and multiplier, and !whamo!, it worked great. I would
double-check on the core voltage however. I remember having to change it,
but don't remember to what.

I don't think your video card speed will be affected or have any problems.
Hope this helps!
