More info about our problem. We can read from the A drive but we cannot copy to or from the A drive. When we try to copy a file to the A drive we get the blue screen with "DISC WRITE ERROR. Unable to write to disc in drive A: Data or files may be lost. Press any key to continue". This then takes us back to the original folder from which we are trying to copy the file. When we try to copy a file from the A drive we get "Error copying file.Cannot copy file.The system cannot read from the specified device". Hopefully this will give a clue to someone who can help us with our problem. TIA.Carole Long
