Could this "Socket 8" board be a Socket A? If that is the case, then you
will be able to run an AMD Duron or Thunderbird from it with an ATX power
supply.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Socket 8 M/B

I have just purchased a socket 8 M/Board in an auction. This socket is
vastly different from a socket 7 board. What CPU is needed to fit this
M/Board?

Regards,
Alan Priol.
