It appears the small form factor model has an odd-shaped power supply, that may have a different pinout than standard.

which also is for one of the gx280 versions.
The front panel on the gx280 in my office, a regular tower, has 2 boards in the panel -
see ebay items 400031995656 and 370174842295
the first one, has 3 cables - a round audio cable with 10 pins on the mb end, 6 wires, for audio/usb I guess, feeds 2 usb jacks and one headphone jack on the board. A second flat cable maybe 20 conductors also attached to the mb. The third connector connects the 2 boards together, the 3701.. # is the power switch and led.

Here is the delivered parts list for one of ours, from the Dell website. Maybe this will help you confirm if the mb is from a tower or something else.

I may have really goofed with the Dell motherboard. At least some Dell
boards use a non-standard power connector so that the board and power supply
may burn up if connected - even though the connectors fit. Can anyone verify
that this is the case for an Optiplex GX280 board? I am researching further,
but any definitive input from the list would be appreciated.
