I am resubmitting this, as there were no replies, and I am asking if my
answers mean anything to anybody. Also, my Ethernet cards have LED
indicators for Link and Activity. Would indications from these LEDs help
solve the problem of why both computers not recognize the other? I would
have to run the computers without covers to see the indicators
illuminate.
