When I hooked an IBM monitor I wanted to use, Windows 98 logo screen came
up fine, but before startup got to Desktop the display deteriorated to
columns of tears. Monitor had performed satisfactorily before. There is
no horizontal hold control. Removing and reinstalling monitor in Windows
didn't help.

Tried running computer in Safe Mode to see if lower color and pixels
would help, but that didn't make a difference. Monitor was hooked up to
Windows 95 system before. Would it work under Windows 95, but not Windows
98?
