Bill,

I have almost the exact same system, BH6, Celeron @ 450, 2 hard drives on
primary ide.  My CD-ROM is master on the secondary IDE, My HP 8100 CD-R is
slave.  During the HP install it recommends that set up.  Works great for
everything including copying CD's.  I haven't burned one single coaster with
it.
