My daughter-in-law's lap top got the sasser and blaster virus.  I took them
off for her but it had evidently done some damage to the files because it
still wouldn't stay on line.  Also I downloaded the windows update on my
computer and tried to put them on her's so it wouldn't happen again.  It
wouldn't complete the update.  She can't find her restore disks for it so I
thought that I would format and put ME on which I have.  I had downloaded
the drivers I thought I would need.

However a friend was able (with serial number and model numbers) to order a
restore disk from the company for us which I hadn't thought about.  So it's
a good thing I didn't  do it!!  I just hope this will repair the damage!
