I am trying (still) to get ICS working with a cable modem
connection. Have both NICs in the Win 98 SEhost machine, and the
single NIC in the Win 95 client machine, set up properly.
Installing ICS was uneventful, pretty straight forward. The
internet connection from the win 98 SE host works as it always did.
The local network still works as it always did. Only have one
internet application on the client.. netscape 4.73; but when trying
to run it, I get the following message
"Netscape was unable to creat a network socket connection. There
may be insufficient system resource or the network may be down.

Try connecting again later or try restarting Netscape. You can also
try restarting Windows."

System resources on both machines are 73-75 percent free. The
network was up. Restarting resulted in the same error message.

So now what can be my problem.

thanks as always

David Hurst
