Please do not dump the printer !

It seems the printer head is clogged. Epson printer have this common problem
of head being clogged if not used for quite some time.

You can try repeated head cleaning but it consumes a lot of ink.

So better would be to clean it other way. The way I do is take 2 cc of
distilled water in a syringe and inject on the post that delivers ink (it
punches the sealing tape on the catridge). Make sure the tip of the syringe
(without needle) fits tightly over the post (there is one post for each
color). There are other methods too.

Like - you fill an empty catridge with distilled water and do repeated print
head cleaning cycles.

If you need elaborate details - search the net on 'cleaning clogged printer
heads'. You'll find plenty.

Hope this info helps you.
