I have seen this error occur with Windows 98 SE before. System: AMD K6-2 450 mhz, Windows 98 SE with Voodoo 3 3000 AGP video card. It ramdomly occured. Why?
One day but afterwards it was OK, the error occured and after I rebooted again to "repair" the registry, I was at 640x480 only 16 colours! and I had to get it back again by reinstalling the drivers or it just "kicked back in place by itself" . Why??? That's weird!
