My questions is regarding the formatting of hard drives for (but not
limited to) IBM eServers.
 
I understand that these can be seated on their side but I recently heard
that in order to avoid issues, they should be prepped on their sides
then also.  Specifically, the hard drive needs to be formatted in the
position that it will remain in.  Is there truth to this?
