What ways have you used to extract the file? Are you using a Zip utility? If not, that is your problem. I would recommend either winzip or winrar. I prefer winrar because it will do many more types of compressed files than winzip, but winzip works great for zips.
If you are using a zip utility, maybe your download is corrupt. Try redownloading.
